Conservation Foundation

The Conservation Foundation of Jefferson County, Iowa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to enhancing, restoring, and protecting the natural areas of Jefferson County. The Foundation supports the work of the Jefferson County Conservation Board by funding projects that improve parks, wildlife habitat, outdoor recreation, and environmental education opportunities.

Through stewardship, conservation, and community engagement, we strive to ensure these natural resources are preserved and enjoyed by current and future generations.

Friends of Jefferson County Conservation

The Friends of Jefferson County Conservation is a community-driven giving program that directly supports our parks, wildlife, and outdoor education efforts.

By becoming a Friend, you help fund:

• Environmental education programs and school field trips
• Habitat restoration and wildlife conservation
• Trail development and maintenance
• Park improvements and equipment
• Community events like Outdoor Adventure Night

Annual Giving Levels:

• Individual – $30
• Family – $75
• Business – $200
• Prairie Partner – $500
• Mighty Oak – $1,000

The Conservation Foundation of Jefferson County, Iowa is a non-profit entity which formed in 1999.
