Register Here June 9-12; 9:00-11:30am Pre-Registration Required- 4 & 5 Years Old Experience nature in a hands-on way this summer as your youngster explores our natural world! Camp features nature exploration, hiking, games, crafts, and other hands on activities for youth who are 4 and 5 years old. Included in the camp fee of $35 are a snack and t-shirt. Camp will be limited to ten participants.

Register Here June 16-19; 9:00am-12:00pm Pre-Registration Required-Entering 1st-2nd Grade Campers will explore the life cycle of various animals during the week. Camp features nature exploration, hiking, games, crafts, and other hands on activities. Included in the camp fee are a snack and t-shirt. Camp will be limited to twelve participants who are entering 1st-2nd Grade. Camp registration is $40.

Entering 6th-8th Grade Shooting + Archery + Paddling + Fire Building = One fun-filled summer day! This one-day camp will perpetuate Kyle Longerbeam’s dream by teaching the next generation of hunters, trappers, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts that your dreams are just one shot away. Enjoy the summer night sky! Naturalist Brittney Tiller will have a telescope on hand to see a few night sky objects up close. This is an open house style program where participants can arrive anytime between 9:00 and 10:00pm. We will have an alternative program at the Beach House Lodge in Lacey-Keosauqua if the skies are not clear. This is an official Des Moines River Water Trails event cosponsored by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and Jefferson County Conservation.…

Register Here Whether you need to fine tune your skills or would like to try paddling for the first time, this is the program for you! This class, taught by a certified instructor, will help you learn the basics of kayaking and stand up paddleboarding. Participants will begin on the flat water of Lake Sugema in the morning then hit the Des Moines River for a short paddle after lunch. Register Here July 15 (8:00am)- July 16 (5:00pm) Pre-Registration Required-Entering 7th-9th Grade Spelunking, hiking, camping, and white-water kayaking- what more could you want?! This two-day, one-night camp shows participants what unique outdoor recreation opportunities exist in Iowa. Participants will go spelunking at Maquoketa Caves State Park, camp out at Backbone State Park, and white-water kayak in Manchester. Camp will be limited to twelve participants who are entering 7th-9th grade.
