Jefferson County Park
Located on the southwest edge of Fairfield, Jefferson County Park is Jefferson County Conservation’s most widely used park. This park has two campgrounds, the lower 24-site campground offers both electric and water hookups, with a dump station along the park entrance road. The more modern Prairie Ridge Campground has 14 full hookup reservable sites for large modern campers. There are seven paved camp pads and seven gravel pads. Nestled along the Cedar Creek, Round Prairie Park is a mixture of prairie and timber landscapes which cover just over 100 acres. Round Prairie has a small playground, fishing ponds, native prairie, and shelter. A canoe access to Cedar Creek lies in the park and is a local favorite for paddling the Cedar.
